1 in 2 men will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85. It could be you. It could be one of the players from The Pirates.
Call To Arms is a national fundraising event for Cancer Council, raising money to fight men's cancers. Call To Arms not only raises valuable funds, but also raises awareness about men's cancers.
Football Federation SA have nominated Call To Arms as the official charity round in 2010, and we are proud to be a part of it.
The players will all be donning yellow armbands during our Call To Arms round to show support and respect for men with cancer.
We're asking everyone here to do their part – you'll see a donation box near the canteen and bar, and we are holding a raffle to help fundraise for this important cause.
Please help us tackle men's cancers.
For more information, visit calltoarms.com.au or speak to Sally Hall or call 0425 893 378. |

Sports clubs such as ours play a significant role in the community and therefore have a responsibility to our members, patrons and their families. In recognition of this, the Port Adelaide Lions Soccer Club has elected to participate in the GOOD SPORTS program.
The program aims to help community sporting clubs to responsibly manage alcohol, and better understand their Liqour License and duty of care requirements. It is the first nationwide alcohol management program of its kind.
