Match report: A great header from L.Murray almost made his hat-trick but the ref didn't pay the last goal. He headered the ball and it hit the crossbar and a bit of the net and then apprently went in. Well done to Jordan Dabinet for having a clean sheet!! Great result this week boys! |

Goal Scorer - S Parkinson
Pirates won in penalty shoot out 5-4. An early goal by Scott Parkinson was the only highlight in a very scrappy affair. An equalising goal came late in the first half when their striker penetrated the defensive line and went 1 v 1 with goalkeeper Jordan Dabinet.
The second half was just as untidy as the first with several attempts at goals either being saved or missing the target. In extra time the pirate boys stepped up the intensity to no avail with no goals added.
Congratulations to Keeper Jordan Dabinet for saving penalty kick No 4 to give the pirates boys the narrowest of victories. |
